Both came from traditional families in the municipality of Santo Antônio do Amparo. As a farmer and coffee grower, Avelino stood out by constantly striving to develop his business. He was one of the first in the whole region to have electricity, a telephone line and running water in his home. Avelino was also a pioneer who installed a coffee processing machine, which was very advanced for its time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe current owner, Ivan Junqueira Ribeiro, bought out the shares of his mother, uncles and aunts and reunited the farm in 2006. From a young age, Ivan and his brother spent weekends and holidays at Fazenda do Cruzeiro with their grandparents.
