Both came from traditional families in the municipality of Santo Antônio do Amparo. As a farmer and coffee grower, Avelino excelled by striving for constant development in his business. He was one of the first in the entire region to have electricity, a telephone line, and running water in his household. Avelino was also a pioneer who installed a coffee processing machine, which was very advanced for that time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe current owner, Ivan Junqueira Ribeiro, bought the shares of his mother, uncles, and aunts and reunited the farm in 2006. Ivan and his brothers spent their weekends and holidays at Fazenda Cruzeiro with their grandparents from a young age.
