This is the classic, original 1941 Chemex model – the same hourglass-shaped, hand-blown borosilicate glass vessel as the glass-handle version, but featuring a polished wood collar and genuine leather tie as the handle. An iconic look that is part of the permanent design collection at the MoMA in New York.
