Halo Beriti - Ethiopian Light Roast Coffee

Apricot • Citrus • Almond • Toffee

This premium coffee has made it into our selection for the second year in a row, offering our customers unforgettable taste experiences and well-deserved recognition for the Boledu producers. In this coffee, you will find the sweetness of apricot, the tanginess of citrus, and the softness brought by almond and toffee. We recommend Halo Beriti especially for filter brewing methods, which best bring out its caramelly sweetness. This coffee is available in a limited small batch!

About the origin of Halo Beriti

Founded in 2018, the coffee producer community Boledu means "source" in the local language. Boledu's founders, Abyote Ageze and Mebrahtu Aynalem, have over 12 years of experience in coffee. Boledu has produced high-quality coffees with various smallholders at their own washing stations in the Guji Zone, Dimtu Hamblea, Yirgacheffe, Aricha, and Gedeb.

This light roast coffee comes from the Halo Beriti washing station in the Gedeb Worka area of Yirgacheffe. The owners of the Boledu coffee producer community, Abyote Ageze and Mebrahtu Aynalem, bring together high-quality coffees from several smallholders in the region, paying them a premium above the market price while requiring consistent and ripe berry quality from the farmers. To guarantee quality, the Boledu producer community works continuously with the farmers, for example, by training them before every harvest.
