Louhi - Ethiopian medium roast coffee from smallholders in the Sidamo region
Apple • White tea • Citrus • Peach
Louhi is an Ethiopian medium roast coffee: fruity, with apple and peach. If you're looking for a bright, fruity coffee for your filter, Louhi is your coffee.
Have a look at all our Ethiopian coffees and our medium roast coffees too.
Coffees from the Sidamo region stand for a first-class Ethiopian coffee experience. In Louhi you can clearly taste that quality as a mix of clean, nuanced fruity flavours. We especially recommend Louhi for filter methods, where the fruity acidity and tea-like character come through more strongly.
Where Louhi comes from
Fair Specialty Coffee has its roots deep in the Yirgacheffe highlands, where the Bogale family has grown coffee since the 1990s. The family's own farm in Ressiti and its modern washing station laid the foundation for the uncompromising quality they're known for.
When Mikiyas Bogale of the next generation returned home, he broadened the family's vision. Alongside Yirgacheffe, the company began working with smallholders in Sidamo and Guji, bringing new flavour worlds into the range, such as the floral, bright citrusy profiles of Sidamo and the fruity naturals of Guji.
Fair Specialty Coffee works directly with farmers and builds long-term partnerships so that every lot is traceable, fairly produced and processed with pride.

Helppo hyvänmakuinen keskipaahtoinen kahvi. Maku ei ole liian paahteinen. Hinta/laatu-suhde kohdillaan.
