We are a small Finnish roastery from Mikkeli. Our green coffee comes from South and Central America and Africa, and our dad Olli roasts it in small batches. You can get them as whole beans or ground for boiled coffee, Chemex, drip coffee, moka pot or espresso, in 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg bags.

Where can I buy high-quality coffee beans online?

Right here. Good coffee starts with fresh, high-quality beans, so we roast all our coffee ourselves in small batches in Mikkeli and ship fresh small batch coffee to your door. Our range includes light, medium and dark roast coffee beans as well as decaf, and each coffee page tells you its origin and flavour profile.

Should I buy whole beans or ground coffee?

Whole beans keep their flavour longer, so if you have a grinder, choose Bean as the grind. If you don't, we grind the coffee for your brewer: boiled coffee, Chemex, filter, moka pot or espresso. You'll find grinders among our coffee grinders.

Which coffee suits which brewer?

For drip brewers and boiled coffee, choose the full-bodied Kalervo Dark, Pellervo Dark or Sammon. For espresso and milk drinks, choose Kalervo, Pellervo or Jukola, which our customers say works brilliantly as a base for americanos and oat milk drinks. For the moka pot, French press and AeroPress our customers recommend Louhi, and for pour over (V60) Vipunen, Aino and Halo Beriti.

How fresh is the coffee?

We roast several times a week, so your coffee is sent out fresh and has not been sitting on a shop shelf.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on orders over €59 in Finland and over €89 to other countries. We ship to Finland, the Åland Islands, Sweden, Denmark and the Baltic countries.

Can I order coffee as a monthly subscription?

Yes. With Oma seikkailu you choose the coffee, size and grind yourself, and with Kahviseikkailu the roaster chooses the coffee for you. You get the coffee delivered or pick it up, and the subscription has no commitment: you can change or pause it at any time. See our coffee subscriptions.

Can I send coffee as a gift directly to the recipient?

Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient's address as the delivery address and your own billing details in the payment step. You'll find step by step instructions on the page Sending a gift directly to the recipient.

Can I buy your coffee in Mikkeli?

Yes. All our coffees are also sold at our café at Nuijamiestenkatu 21 in Mikkeli, where you can taste them before you buy.
